Abigail Terms of Service

At Abigail House Cleaning Services, we want to ensure a positive and efficient experience for both our clients and staff. In order to do so, we have established the following terms of service:

Access: In the event that you are unable to provide access to your home on the day of service, a 50% fee will be assessed. This policy will be enforced after the first incident.

Cancellation: If you cancel your cleaning service with less than 24 business hours notice, a 50% fee will be assessed. Business hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-7pm and 8am to 5pm on Fridays.

Illness: If someone in your home is ill and contagious on the day of your scheduled cleaning, please inform us in advance. We may choose to wear a face mask or reschedule for the safety of our staff.

Weather: In the event of inclement weather, we will inform you of any delay or rescheduling as soon as possible for the safety of our staff.

Payment: Payment is due at the time of service. We currently accept cash or credit card.

Fees: Our pricing is determined at the time of the estimate and based on the frequency of cleans. If you skip a scheduled clean, an additional fee may be assessed.

Price Increase: We reserve the right to raise our rates at any time, with advance notice given to clients.

Preparation: While we ask that you do not “clean” before we arrive, we do ask that you pick up as much as possible to allow us to focus on detail and quality.

New Hires/Trainees: The cleaning industry has a higher turnover rate than most. We strive to keep consistent with a single assigned cleaner, but please be kind and accepting of new hires. The quality of work should be the determining factor.

Expectations: We strive for consistency and attention to detail, but perfection is not always possible. We will refer you to a service professional for specialized issues such as hard water buildup or mold.

Quality Assurance: Our quality assurance process is interactive and dependent on your feedback and communication. We address and/or correct any issues within 24 hours of being made aware of them.

Setting: The ideal cleaning situation is when no one is home. If this is not possible, please eliminate distractions to allow our technician to work without
